TCJM is a coalition of more than 10 Hong Kong Tongzhi groups and has been working since 1999 as a forum for collaboration on tongzhi rights. In the 2000 LegCo elections, the TCJM endorsed one candidate in each of the five geographical constituencies. All won the election to the 2000-04 Legislative Council. In this coming election, the TCJM wants all the candidates to make clear where they stand on tongzhi issues. The project team includes some 20 lesbians and gays, working on different aspects of the campaign.
